The support and follow-through we received from Ovivo far surpasses any that we have received to date from others while starting up our liquid stream.
DESCRIPTION
The original Picnic Point Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) was constructed in 1973 to provide wastewater (sewage) treatment for the Alderwood Water and Wastewater District (District). The facility provides treatment and disinfection of sewage before discharging it into the Sound. Based on the results of an extensive evaluation, including a net present worth (NPW) analysis, an Enviroquip® MBR System was selected to renovate the old plant. Some of the evaluation criteria used to compare technologies and suppliers included noise, odor, economics, maintenance, operations, solids handling, visual appearance, permitting, truck traffic, and construction impact.
