Amneal’s side by side MBR system can treat municipal and pharmaceutical waste to reuse quality water
DESCRIPTION
An American pharmaceutical company, Amneal develops and produces affordable generic medicines. The industrial MBR system receives waste from pharmaceutical production of generic pills, wash water from pill making machines. The industrial waste has low level of organic solids. Even though there were two separate engineering firms, there was one contractor on the project and the entire project executed seamlessly. One of the main reason MBR technology was selected because they wanted a technology that can treat both domestic and pharmaceutical waste and can meet SCDOH requirements.
