One of two Enviroquip MBR plants owned by Harvest Monrovia WSFPA

Plant averages 0.04 mg/l NH3‐N, 0.23 mg/l BOD, and 0.036 mg/l TSS.
DESCRIPTION
Operated and maintained by the Harvest‐Monrovia Water, Sewer and Fire Protection Authority, the MBR plant is located in Madison County, AL (a major part of Huntsville metropolitan area). High quality permeate from the MBR treatment is an ideal solution to tackle the challenges observed with the imposing of stringent TMDL (Total Maximum Daily Load) limits for BOD, TSS & NH3. Limited space availability of the plant site also contributed towards the selection of Ovivo MBR technology, which could be employed in real small footprints. The plant is designed to operate in gravity mode. System includes membrane thickening and digestion. For more information about the other MBR plant in Harvest Monrovia, see the Jeff Road WWTP case study.
