Options ranged from SBR, to constructed wetlands, to MBR. The final decision was Ovivo’s Enviroquip MBR quality and footprint.
DESCRIPTION
Concrete, WA was founded around the logging industry and the local Portland cement manufacturing plants along Baker River, a pristine body of water, which is an important salmon core habitat area. The town’s previous aerated lagoon system could no longer meet the treatment standards of today, endangering the Baker River’s designated uses as an important fishery for sportsmen and tribes. Ovivo’s Enviroquip MBR has been meeting and exceeding todays water quality standards since September 2008.
