DESCRIPTION
The CuisinArt Resort in Anguilla utilized a 60,000 gpd extended aeration plant to treat the resort's wastewater. The resort needed to increase capacity to 120,000 gpd, without increasing the overall facility footprint. MBR technology was selected and the existing process basins were converted into the MBR process, without requiring additional tankage. Upgrade occurred during the off season, but a portion of the plant remained on line during construction to provide continuous treatment. All of the MBR effluent is utilized for public access irrigation.
