DESCRIPTION
In late 2002, Enviroquip® MBR technology was utilized in the new wastewater treatment system for Edgewater Apartments, a low income senior housing complex in Westport, MA. This 10,000 gpd system was completely constructed underground to reduce visibility and all equipment is housed in the apartment building’s basement. This state‐of‐ the‐art technology is an excellent choice for apartments and housing complexes and has provided the development with a compact, highly efficient treatment system. Ovivo working with Applied Water Management (now Natural Systems Utilities) engineered the plant, overcoming land restraints by using a compact treatment layout that aided in minimizing effects the nearby environmentally.
