“Operator friendliness was one of the big things I looked at. The flat plate technology makes a lot of sense to me.” ‐ Dave Nuttal.
DESCRIPTION
The City of Fairview, UT purchased and constructed a new 0.35 MGD ENVIROQUIP MBR System at the originally proposed treatment plant location. The decision was based on the need for a smaller footprint and high quality effluent since the city had limited space for expansion of the current treatment system, and at 80 acres in size, the lagoon facility was simply too large to situate within close proximity to the source of the wastewater. The system is completely enclosed within a building in order to blend in with its rural surroundings, and treats the City’s waste with a minimum of operator attention. Effluent from the plant is utilized for irrigation of the local cemetery, baseball fields, and parks.
