Ovivo’s MBR System was the only biological system that could treated such varying influent loading
DESCRIPTION
Glaxo Smith Kline is a pharmaceutical company and produces several different products. This facility in East Durham processes difficult to treat waste from toothpaste manufacturing. There is signicant physical/chemical treatment for removal of zinc, silica upstream of MBR system. The MBR system was the only unit operations that could have biologically treated the waste considering the fluctuation in load that are seen at the facility. The processes effluent water is reused for physical chemical treatment.
