DESCRIPTION
In 2009, the Town of Mount Hope in Orange County, NY performed upgrades to its’ existing activated sludge wastewater treatment facility and replaced it with the advanced MBR technology from Ovivo. New construction for only the Anoxic & MBR process basins were required as the MBR plant utilized the existing Equalization and the Aerobic Digester for sludge holding. Presently treating municipal flows from a development consisting of 100 homes, the plant is fully sized and equipped to handle future expansion of 50 supplementary homes just by adding two additional SMUs.
