PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

One of four Enviroquip MBR plants currently owned and operated by Paulding County.
DESCRIPTION
As a result of increased flow demands, Paulding County fast tracked design on their Pumpkinvine Phase 3&4 facility. Given site constraints at the original Pumpkinvine Phase 1&2 MBR plant site, the phase 3&4 facility was located approximately 100 yards away. Unlike the phase 1&2 MBR plant, the Phase 3&4 MBR plant utilized a four stage process to meet a future Total Phosphorus limit of 0.13 mg/l. Enhanced biological phosphorus removal with chemical addition and high level membrane filtration were selected to meet this future limit. Energy Pro along with pump assisted gravity permeation were selected to optimize plant energy consumption. For more information on the other three Enviroquip MBRs in Paulding County, please see the Pumpkinvine Creek (Phases 1 & 2), Coppermine, and Upper Sweetwater case studies.
