The Troy WWTP discharges into the Cuivre River. A good part of its course marks the borders between Lincoln and St. Charles counties before emptying into the Mississippi River north of St. Louis.
DESCRIPTION
The City of Troy’s wastewater system serves a population of approximately 10,500. The city currently has two treatment plants. One is an aeration plant and the other in a newly built Membrane Bio‐Reactor plant. This high‐tech facility features extensive screening and membrane filtration to produce an effluent of exceptional quality.
