Viking Yacht

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Commissioned March, 2008 Commercial WW, New Construction Permit(s); Discharge 8/NA/NA    (TN/TP/Turbidity) Yacht Company  Ocean MMF Capacity: 0.03 MGD $44.0/gal 1 FTE (Full‐Time Employees)
The facility has received the certification of a Clean Marina by New Jersey’s Department of Environmental Protection.

DESCRIPTION

The Viking Yacht Company Wastewater Reclamation Plant has a design capacity of 25,000 gallons per day. The plant was designed to treat high influent loadings and to meet low ammonia and nitrogen limits of < 0.4 mg/L and < 8mg/L accordingly. ENVIROQUIP’s system not only meets the expected effluent limit requirements, but also provides the facility with the benefit of a small footprint, ease of operation, and lower maintenance costs. It also offered an overall cost savings on sludge hauling because of the plant’s ability to operate at a longer SRT and at a higher range of MLSS concentration.
