DESCRIPTION
The Welsh Power MBR WWTP is a 10,000 GPD MBR System that was installed to treat the wastewater generated by the Welsh Power Plant (WPP) personnel and operations. The MBR Plant is operated by the Southwestern Electric Power Company, which is a unit of the American Electric Power (AEP). The treated effluent is discharged into a cooling tower storage pond. Water is withdrawn from the pond for cooling purposes.
